Gabriel Melcher is designs publications, exhibitions, and visual identities for brands and events.

He currently leads the design team at SSENSE, and was previously Interim Design Director and Senior Designer at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. He has experience working in close collaboration with creative and business teams and has designed projects for Humanrace, Burberry, Gucci, Vans, Lu'u Dan, Kerby Jean Raymond (Your Friends in New York), Tom Sachs Studio, and Virgil Abloh. His work has been awarded by the Type Director's Club.

On occasion, Gabriel writes, exhibits, and teaches workshops.

He received an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2016, receiving recognition as a GDUSA Student to Watch, an AIGA "Fresh Grad" Speaker, and in Wallpaper* Magazine's Graduate Directory.
